The Terra Pindus team has been hard at work cleaning and marking the Epiniana-Asprorema-Leontito trail.
Our team has been following in the footsteps of the Οξυγόνο των Αγράφων team, who recently restored the first leg of the trail. Despite the intense heat our team managed to explore and mark the rest of the trail.
The next step in our schedule is marking the descent from Delidimi to Leontito. This will greatly improve the passability of this unique route.
But we`re not stopping there! The team is also exploring the Leontito-Kumbouriana-Trizolos bridge section.
The Epiniana-Asporema-Leontito section is known as one of the most isolated and challenging parts of the Pindus trail. Completing the marking of this section will be a big milestone for Terra Pindus in our efforts to create a thru-hike route through Agrafa. Hikers will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of this wild mountain range in Greece.
As members of this effort, we would like to give a special thank you to the Oxygen of Agrafa team and all the volunteers who have helped with the cleaning and marking, even in tough weather conditions.
